There can be more than one reason for device not reporting to server, scenarios described as below:
Scenario 1: All of sudden device stop sending data (While Status showing Green / Yellow / Purple) : There can be following reasons for causing such issue described below
A. Power lost : In This case you need to try to call on device SIM number (If not data sim) and check if it is ringing or not , if not then device is power OFF and you need to examine the device physically If ringing then go for the next step
B. Not Enough GPRS credits: After checking the power status of the device , Please try to send fns fns getstatus (for VT-60, 61, 62, 62+, 80 only) command to device sim (if not data sim) and check it's response if it gives GPRS : 0 then you need to recharge the GPRS credits
C Invalid GPS Signals: If device is showing Purple color in this case try to send fns fns getgps (VT-60, 61, 62, 62+, 80 only )and in response if you get GPS : 0 that means device not getting GPS signals in this try to send fns fns cpureset (VT-60, 61, 62, 62+, 80 only) (rebooting device) , wait sometime untill device enter GPS valid zone
Scenario 2: Earlier Working but not sending data from last 24hrs: If most of the devices in your software are not working than it can be a portal issue in this case please contact F'n'S Support Team , If issue is in 1 or 2 device please follow the above mentioned steps in Secnario 1
